Viva Espanya!

After a few head pounding noise at the job fair. And after few exchange of words of encouragement to graduates to be just to make them apply for our company. I know I deserve a break.

I am getting excited every minute as our job fair near its end. Kebs sa ulan, kebs sa unsystematic accounting system and kebs sa bigat ng mga dalahin. All I want is to get out of here and go to a new place. Naks feeling

ang bongga bongga nung place. So after a ride north bound. I am nearing to one of the historical places in Manila. I do not know how it got its name but for me, being there is like being in a foreign land, in a different time: the past.
Call me naive or whatever you want to call me. But for me, the feeling of a first time brings excitement and happiness. Request sana ako ng drumroll...

Welcome to UST! The place of the Growling Tigers! The 400 year old school.

The beautiful structure of the Medical Arch, the facade, the Saints on top of the old building. WOW! This part of Manila makes me feel that I am in Spain, or in Italy or in Rome. I really can't help but awed its surroundings. Here lies a luscious green environment.

Ewan ko ba... but I love going to historical places, tulad nito. Parang it brings lif
e to what I have learned in my Social Science class.
Well, I hope I could still go back here and stay as long as I want, smell the old rustic scent, feel the breeze, review by history books, magmuni muni habang kumukuyakoy sa stone bench at kumakain ng butong pakwan.

Job Fair @ Adamson

Enjoying a beautiful sunny Wednesday here in Adamson. Its my first time to be here. Not quite of what I am expecting.

But the thing is, unlike my previous Job Fairs this one comes with a live band. Ah eh, not the one that you hear at late night bars and resto's but its a band that usually played at fiestas and in interments.

Good thing that the band was a couple of walks away from our booth. Yet you still hear the powerful flow of trumphet music and heavy percussion of the big fat drums, include the cymbals as well.

And I which not much of band fanatic tried to decipher every tune just like the game Name that Tune. Gosh! some songs sounded like an interment is really happening. It makes you imagine a dead is slowy sinking in the grave.

Oh well, I will just enjoy this day. It is worth experiencing a different Job Fair. Posting pictures later.

Pens for Keeps

Our fiesta is unlike those feasts that invites tourist. The celebration is simple. But what I like about it is the tianggian that usually arrived on the very fiesta day. Aside of the low cost goodies, there is always something thing to buy. Just like this pen.

So cute pens, that I bought for 25 Pesos each(naku I make tawaran pa). Not only that, a buyer can have their name hand printed in the pens body. I bought one for me and one for my sister.

I also bought one for a Japanese friend and have her name written in the pen.

Another is for a colleague that lets me have a ride with her to the office or going home.

I know a pen can cost lower than 25, still they are so cute so I feel buying it.
Anyway, our newly renovated church interior is so classy. We were few days on the Golden Jubilee, so excited to experience it, now that our Bishop was selected to be the Archbishop of Manila. Kudos!!!

The blog (again)

I purchased a second hand netbook for a price of a brand new one (blame it on depreciation value) just to air whatever is on my mind. At first I was so excited. True. Well, ummm not much. Since it is a second hand, there were some worries. Like how long will work, is the OS functionable, blah blah blah. Still, I want a netbook, to journal whatever I want to journal. And to blog whatever I want to blog.
And so here it is, I am typing my first blog in my second hand netbook. What is my story? What are the things I like and not much like? Things that I have encountered during in my walk in life.
Still I wish, this is for long.
